Middlebrow tavern style was worth the wait

We were seated in front of the oven which was both weirdly soothing to watch (the giant cutter! So neat!) and got me eyeballing every pizza to see if it was ours 😂

The pizza was super super thin and solid ratio of cheese, toppings, sauce, crust imo. Some of the edges were burnt but I don’t see how you avoid that really.

I have to say I think the sauce especially is what Middlebrow absolutely kills. I am a bit sad they don’t have their vegan option (yuzu kosho olive oil, no cheese) on Tavern Tuesday, but I got bread with that as a starter.

I think you either love or hate the sauce. For me it’s way too sweet. Everything else is amazing though

What toppings you got on there? Onions, peppers and mushrooms?

That looks delicious, I’m a sucker for pizza where the cheese was browned, looks so freaking good 🤤

how long was the wait and how much did this cost? i saw they have a 21.1% service fee

I disagree. It took too long, was way too small and definitely overpriced at $28 for a pizza that basically feeds one person. I’m a fan of Middlebrow, but I’ll go elsewhere for tavern style pizza.

I feel like I am the only one who did not enjoy the crazy thin crust on this.

It’s very good pizza but their service is incredibly slow, the pizza takes an insane amount of time to prepare and it’s very expensive, especially with the service fee

I’m confused. Is that crust burnt to a crisp or is it some weird dough?
