Hey all, running a pit boss pro series.
Replaced the igniter, and then the igniter blew the fuse. Replaced the fuse and re-positioned the igniter, as well as plugged it into a different outlet.
Now the igniter is not working, and only a couple pellets within the dish are being burned (see pic attached)
I’ve checked the wire connections and I think they are good.

Any thoughts to why some pellets are burned but most aren’t? How can I troubleshoot from here?

Are the pellets new ? I had a similar issue using old pellets. They must have had too much moisture and wouldn’t stay lit

Can’t help but think that something is wrong with the wiring if it tripped a breaker.

Is the fan working? You need airflow to bring those glowing embers up to a flame. An inoperative fan might also cause the igniter to overheat and blow the fuse. I have not personally experienced this in just taking what knowledge I have on pellet grills and general electrical theory and forming my best guess.

Looks to me like your ignitor is sticking out too far.
