Fun fact – in Korea, when it’s rainy, the go-to food is jeon/전, which are savory pancakes with green onion, seafood, or kimchi. There’s no one single reason why, but part of it is the sound it makes—the sound of hot oil spattering and sizzling kind of sounds like rain hitting the roof or a window.
So, yeah. Craving galbi in the rain is very Korean of you. Thumbs up from Seoul.
