Using Pyrethrins to deal with Thrip infestation on Peppers and noticed these symptoms in my tomatoes. The tops have all new leaves being produced curly and leathery.Could this be a disease from thrips or herbicide damage? What could I do to fix this? (South Florida Zone 10B; any help appreciated)

All my tomatoes get this each year, no idea what causes it but I don’t do anything and they grow out of it.
Broadleaf (2, 4 D or similar) herbicide contamination.
There are some viruses that look similar, and thrips certainly spread viruses, so do your due diligence.
But herbicide damage would be the default assumption (where I am, which is the opposite coast from you, and not much in the way of viruses here aside from TSWV).
Yep herbicide damage
Is it possible that the same sprayer had herbicide in it? Otherwise is it possible you are using mulch or compost or manures that may have been treated with 2,4D? It is unbelievably pervasive. It can come through aged horse manure.
