That’s why you weigh your food. The nutrition facts aren’t lying; 120 cals for 56 grams is about right for normal bread.
Edit: think of it this way. Which two slices are they referring to? Is a slice from the end the same size as one from the middle? What if the loaf is a boule shape instead of a loaf? Have you ever seen a loaf of bread that is perfectly rectangular, and not tapered upwards in the middle?

Its because they take the weight of the whole loaf and divide it by the slices. So it’s not lying. Just weigh them.

Nothing is wrong here. This is how food works. They cannot possibly calculate individual slices or things like how much chips weigh in a safe/efficient manner.
This is also why having and correctly using a food scale is key for accuracy. It’s less about nit picking and more about it being possible to over or under eat without you knowing’s
