Bought this from a local butcher shop with a plan to smoke it this weekend.

Am thinking of cutting in half and smoking one half, and cutting the other half into steaks to grill.

Anyone here have experience with smoking beef tenderloin?

    I did a tenderloin last week. I smoked it at 225 until internal temp was 100. I took it off then set my recteq to riot mode (750) and seared it until internal of 130, let it rest then cut into steaks in was fabulous
