I think based off your description in another comment, it’s probably a chipotle adobo salsa. There’s lots of recipes in the pinned post to play around with.
I made a red salsa yesterday and added just a bit of the sauce from a can of chipotle adobo and it made my sauce have that little extra kick

this looks like one that I’ve been seeking too, it was SUPER smoky. Maybe it had both chipotle adobo and/or morita and meco dried chiles.

You’re gonna have to give us some more tasting notes here man. Without that I just have to assume it’s dried chiles de arbol toasted in a pan with some oil, roasted (maybe blackened?) Roma tomatoes, onion, and garlic, salt, and maybe some vinegar

Look up Salsa tlaquepaque, I know it’s probably not it but it might be close… its my favorite salsa with a little bit of instant coffee mix in it lol it’s pretty good
