    Ingredients (1 Serving)

    Pasta & Chicken

    1 portion mafaldine pasta (uncooked)

200 g chicken breast (cut into bite-size chunks)

    Sauce & Seasoning

    2 garlic cloves (minced)

    1 1/4 cups milk

1/2 cup parmesan cheese (finely grated)

    1/4 cup heavy cream

    1/4 cup chicken broth

    1 1/2 tbsp butter

    1 1/2 tbsp flour

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    Salt (to taste)

    Black pepper (cracked, to taste)

    Garnish

    Parsley leaves (chopped)

    Cooking Instructions

    1. Cook Pasta:

Prepare the pasta according to package instructions.

While pasta cooks, season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    2. Cook Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

    3. Drain Pasta:

Once pasta is cooked, drain and reserve some pasta water. Set aside.

    4. Start Sauce:

In the same pan used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    5. Make Roux:

Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.

    6. Deglaze Pan:

Pour in chicken broth, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 1 minute.

    7. Finish Sauce:

Add milk and heavy cream, then reduce heat to low.

Simmer until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.

    8. Season Sauce:

Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

If the sauce is too thick, thin it out with reserved pasta water.

    9. Combine:

Return the cooked chicken and pasta to the pan. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.

    10. Serve:

Remove from heat and garnish with parsley.

Serve with additional parmesan and cracked pepper if desired.

Enjoy your creamy and flavorful chicken mafaldine pasta! 🍝
