Hi, just bought this on Amazon and I’m just wondering how I should go about making this.
Is it creamy?
Also it’s between this and shin ramen with the kewpie mayo and egg yolk hack. Can someone tell me which results would be better in terms of authenticity and taste?

I think that’s for Karē Udon and not Ramen though…
Shin ramen (ramyun) is not Japanese ramen and would not be considered authentic *Japanese* ramen. The other just says curry dashi stock which is exactly what it sounds like and not a traditional ramen broth on its own. Take a look at[ this](https://www.reddit.com/r/ramen/comments/16v03hs/best_instant_tonkotsu/) thread for instant recommendations, at least for tonkotsu.
Good
Send it to me, I will try it out and let you know
Not familiar with this product so I’m guessing not creamy. I would probably make this similar to a Japanese curry. My idea would be to sauté chopped onions in oil, seasoning and minced garlic until it gets some color then add cubed chicken. Brown the chicken but not cooked fully thru, add chicken stock along with chopped carrots and potatoes. Simmer until carrots and potatoes are done then add in your curry dashi and simmer for a little bit. When that’s done, add in cooked noodles of your choice.
If you’re a ramen fanatic I recommend just trying to make your own ramen broth from scratch. It’s not very hard. Buy some whole chicken. Either raw or even the pre-cooked rotisserie chickens can work. Eat the meat and save all the bones/carcass (freeze them if you’re not using it right away). When you have 3-4 whole chicken carcasses, put them in a big pot and add just enough water to cover and simmer for 2-3 hours.
Strain the stock. Now, make a tare with roughly equal parts soy sauce, sake, and sugar. You can add extra salt if it’s not salty enough. Add about 2-3 tablespoons to a bowl and pour hot chicken stock on top. Here is your basic shoyu ramen. Add noodles, meat, green onion or whatever else you want.
Making ramen at home is an exciting and rewarding venture!
