The November Cooking with the Cap Times event, held Thursday, Nov. 21, at Furniture & ApplianceMart, featured private chef Jennifer Schwarzkopf, former culinary director for Good Brothers Hospitality Group.
Leading up to the holdiday, Schwarzkopf demonstrated how to prepare two classic Southern Thanksgiving sides, creamed corn casserole and sweet potato casserole. Attendees got to taste the final dishes and enjoy a glass of bubbly from our wine pairing sponsor, Leopold’s Books Bar Caffé.
Attending Cooking with the Cap Times in person is one perk of Cap Times membership. Sign up to support local journalism and attend next month’s event on Dec. 19, featuring chef Shawn Bolduc of the Baked Lab. He’ll be showing how to make a bûche de Noël (or yule log cake).
This series is made possible by Furniture & ApplianceMart, Leopold’s Books Bar Caffé and Hinckley Productions.
Jennifer Schwarzkopf, former executive chef for The Ready Set and Good Co. Pioneer Pointe, was the featured chef at Cooking with the Cap Times on Thursday, Nov. 21.
