In this video, learn how to make Martha Stewart’s puttanesca — a classic Italian pasta dish, bursting with bold flavors. This recipe combines penne pasta with a rich tomato sauce that’s infused with garlic, red pepper flakes, and anchovies for a salty kick. The sauce is further enhanced with capers and Kalamata olives, which add a briny, tangy taste. The dish is easy to make, and the sauce comes together quickly in a skillet while the pasta cooks.

  1. I hope Martha one day brings out a video or a series of videos on how she plans and organises her days, her weeks and long term goals aa she does so many things. It's not easy being able to organise and manage different areas of your life. I always admired that about Martha. How does she do it without getting overwhelmed and not getting burnout.

  2. LOL I like her ex… he knew a putta when he saw one. 😂. And served her the appropriate dish 😅

  3. Simply the best Italian dish there is but it needs more olives .. fragrant and vibrant aroma and taste fit for Kings and Queens 👑

    And us poor folks 😂

  4. Delicious! I found it best to prepare the sauce and then cook the pasta while the sauce “rests.” The sauce took 20-30 minutes to thicken for me. Also, I used more olive oil, enough to coat the pan bottom. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. All the ingredient measurements were spot on! (Except that I used more olive oil.)

  5. Made this recipe and it was delicious! I didn't have chili flakes but I had a jalapeño pepper in my fridge so I just sliced it and substituted it
