Can’t use onions in any of my cooking – I cook every day, we live very rural – or he will make comments/not eat it. But when it comes to green bean casserole, he himself put a second can of French fried onions in the grocery cart. Extra French fried onion in the casserole per his request! But I couldn’t add the shallots in this recipe! Onion haters are so annoying!

puree some onions and add it into your recipes. can almost guarantee he won’t notice. that way you will both enjoy the nurturing properties of the onion.
