Most of my plants turned up their toes a month or so back. I stripped all of the plants and let nature do its thing. After a couple weeks I noticed the potted plants along the house still looked fairly healthy in spite of the frost apparently getting enough radiant heat from the house to keep going. I had an old tarp that I decided to throw over them at night to see how long I could limp them and to see if they could push another crop in the month of November. They amazingly were able to continue to bloom, get pollinated and grow more fruit. The green cherry tomatoes and the jalapenos in the containers are what I was able to salvage. The cold nights were splitting fruit that was nearing ripening. The ripe tomatoes were from my October pick that we just pulled out of the bag. It was a good season that lasted.
