For fans of the internationally renowned, multi-Michelin starred Chef Gordon Ramsay, who are visiting Las Vegas, it may seem like a meal at the famous Hell’s Kitchen is an absolute must do… but is the experience worth the incredibly high cost? Or are we idiot sandwiches only paying for the Gordon Ramsay name? In today’s episode of James and Paul Try it All, we aim to find out!

Located in front of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Nevada, the world’s first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant seats more than 300 guests including two chef’s tables, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the famous Las Vegas Strip, red and blue design details in the show kitchen, a private dining room and a contemporary bar serving the latest trends in mixology. The Red and Blue kitchens serve up modern lunch and dinner menus including Hell’s Kitchen signature dishes made with the highest quality ingredients.

Originally a television series, host and Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Ramsay challenged a new group of talented chefs each season splitting them into the iconic red and blue teams in Hell’s Kitchen. Facing challenges, dinner service and elimination, these hopeful chefs battle it out in the kitchen with hopes of becoming Chef Ramsay’s protege. Nominated for six Emmy awards, Hell’s Kitchen is currently in the midst of its 23rd season.

Drawing inspiration from the television series, Chef Gordon Ramsay creates a unique dining experience for guests to feel as if they are dining on set at Hell’s Kitchen. The menu at Hell’s Kitchen includes iconic dishes such as Beef Wellington, Pan-Seared Scallops, Lobster Risotto, Sticky Toffee Pudding and more.

Chef Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants have become a fan-favorite in Las Vegas, serving over 1 million Beef Wellingtons since opening their doors in 2018. Today, Hell’s Kitchen serves guests in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Southern California, Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Foxwoods, and now Miami.

Watch as we put Hell’s Kitchen to the test to determine if it is worth your time and money on your next visit to Las Vegas, and we’ll find out once and for all… Is Ramsay’s Beef Wellington everything that they say it is?

  1. We really enjoyed Hells Kitchen! It’s such a mad house in there but it’s even more impressive they are able to crank out such consistently good food at such a high volume. Love it! Great video guys!

  2. I have reservations for Our 35 year wedding anniversary so I think it's going to be alright. Thank you guys , great video as always, Thank you James, Thank you Paul.

  3. Good Morning Guys!
Thank you for the reasonable, transparent and entertaining review.
1 I was offended by the $6.99 Iced Tea. Perhaps I am stuck in 2019 or even 2015? Please lmk.
2 For all of the other prices: It is what it is. That is the going rate.
3 How were the acoustics in there? If a place is packed, I don't mind yelling to have a conversation. Unfortunately, some places are just built to be LOUD. BTW- You guys were NOT yelling in the video. I was just being hypothetical.

  4. Thank you guys for this review. I have been curious about this place and now I must try on our next trip.
I haven’t made it to Hells Kitchen yet, but Gordon Ramsey Steak and his hamburger restaurant are amazing and the staff at both treated us like queens when we went. The only one of his restaurants that I didn’t like so far is his fish and chips. Bleck! I guess we will just have to stick with his high end places for fantastic food.

  5. Great video, guys❤. We all definitely need to step out of our comfort zone and try new things. I remember when my husband and I were in Myrtle Beach many, many years ago. He is strictly meat and potatoes. I saw shrimp and grits on a menu. I love both items, but at that time, I had never thought to eat them together. Best thing I did. I need to expand further and am willing to do so. Live, Love, laugh, eat, and be merry 😂❤🥂❤

  6. Thanks for the video. Debbie and I have our super expensive meal planned so we won't be going here in our next trip but I know we'll be back so we might have to put it on our itinerary for that trip. We're also still a little mad they closed Serendipity 3, which is where the Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is now. Their Frozen Hot Chocolate was amazing. 🙂

  7. Commenting without watching the video all the way thru.

HK is pricey but it's kinda become a staple for us when we go. Id recommend the pre fixed menu to sample the Ramsey signature items. Saves a bit of money.

    And speaking of…

Ramsey's Fish and Chips at the Linq promenade is a cheaper option for trying his food. 😊

  8. This was a nice honest video.
When my husband Max and I went to Gordon Ramsay in Atlantic City, we found it to be very over rated. It was just okay.
I have reserved the buffet in Vegas for the 22nd of December and feel it would be a better deal than Ramsey's.
I been to the buffet before but found it somewhat disappointing because my friend grumbled through the entire meal. Hopefully my husband will enjoy it.
I am reserved for 12:15 and hopefully you can join us.
Our treat of course. I need to use up my $500 7 star dinner.
    Tara

  9. When I dined there I had the prix fixed which came with the wellington and sticky toffee pudding and an appetizer (I had the scallops) and it wasn't much more than the cost of the wellington alone – ao that may be a way to lower the bill a bit

  10. Great video as usual, guys! I went to Hell's Kitchen in April and had a fabulous experience. I feel the same as you, however- there are so many options in Vegas, it's going to have to be a one and done for me as well.

  11. I subscribe to 5 or 6 Vegas travel channels. I discovered you about a month ago, and you gents have become my favorite -cannot wait for the next episode – channel. Your reviews are always excellent, honest, to the point, and relatable. You reflect what matters, and I have discovered new things about Vegas watching you. Being a foodie myself, I love your take on the restaurants. So informative and useful and fun. Your subscriber count does not reflect the quality and enjoyability of your efforts. Hope to see it soar soon. Best to you, and keep up the fun.

  12. I can still taste that short rib! We somehow got a 5:00 reservation on the first day of my first trip back in March, and we got the corner table!
Hells Kitchen was hands down one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in my life, and my husbands too. We got the foie gras and lobster risotto, but other than the starters we got the exact same meal as you guys!
I love this video so much!!

  13. Great video. As a gin fan that cocktail looked delicious. For us it's a little bit out of our range, but we did one time eat Gordon's other restaurant inside Cesears and had the delicious Sticky Toffee dessert.

  14. Great video. Ordered all the best!! But it’s your personalities that bring it home!! I want to wish you both a very happy thanksgiving. Love you both. Dave

  15. As fans of Hell's Kitchen – and you guys 😃- my son and I loved your review. It looks like something you'd go to once, for the experience. I like the little touches like the funny note from Gordon and the cute pitchfork instead of a toothpick. Everyone raves about the sticky toffee pudding. I wonder if they have a minimum spend for lunch (or if we could just get a drink and dessert). Great job, guys!

  16. Steak tartare is the best app ever! Those crackers with it were kinda crazy looking, but I’d still order it if I were there.

The Rokerij in Phoenix has an amazing tartare entree/app.

    Holler!

  17. Thank you for this video, I've heard mixed reviews too, so was nervous to try at that price point. Very informative! Love your channel!!!
