48 Hours in NYC – Food n Dessert

My brother visited over TG. This is the damage. And yes we are a big dessert family 🙈

1- From Lucie: The pear cake was really yummy. In the Olive oil cake the lime frosting overpowered the cake too much

2- Saravana Bhavan: Really high quality, from the coconut chutneys to the vada to the dosas. Only thing I didn’t like is that the aloo Dossa isn’t very filled

3- La Burdik: I don’t drink too many hot chocolates but I also eat a lot of dark chocolate. This dark hot chocolate definitely hit the spot

4&5- Emily’s: The pizza was the same as Emmy squared. Personally I love Detroit style. The burger was quite good- but #1 burger in nyc? I’m not sure. I personally prefer the more thicker patty, medium rare style

6- Tonchin: The vegetables here were incredible. From a simple salad to even the dressing on the edamame. As for the ramen, I’m not a big ramen person but my bro said he likes Ichiran more

7- Kolkata chai: The cardamom latte was too bitter for my taste had to add a lot of sugar

8- Patisserie Tomoko. The flavors were very subtle,
So depends how you like your dessert

9- Chalong: Not bad but Thai Diner and Pranakhon are much better IMO

10- Prince Tea House: Black sesame crème brûlée was amazing, rest nothing to go out of your for
