GLADSTONE, Mich. (WLUC) – Gladstone residents gathered at Grace Lutheran Church Thursday for a community Thanksgiving dinner.

This year, there was also a delivery option for residents in the area.

The menu featured turkey and chicken thighs, with a wide range of traditional Thanksgiving sides and desserts, all made or donated by church members.

DART Ministry Leader Judy Vader and Deacon of Fellowship Tony Klarich say inviting the community into the church lets them know they’re always welcome at Grace.

“Church can be pretty, pretty scary to some people and intimidating if you’re not part of it, and this is just a way that we can really show the love of Christ and welcome people into our church family/community,” Klarich said.

“Our doors are open,” Vader added.

Grace Lutheran Church holds Sunday mass online and in person every week at 10 a.m.
