Inspired by recent posts on Thanksgiving sandwiches—and after being cleared out of leftovers by guests—we ordered a few Gobblers from Mighty Quinn’s. While we tend to order BBQ from other (better) spots, credit where credit is due: this sandwich scratches the itch if you want the feeling of eating a homemade leftover sandwich.

Juicy turkey, herbaceous stuffing, cranberry sauce that hits the sweet/tart balance. Extra gravy is a must if you don’t have any saved from Thanksgiving or if, like us, you want to test yours against theirs (my preferred approach is to drizzle a bit on each bite).

We recently tried Poulet Sans Tête after seeing a post about it here and couldn’t place our finger on why exactly we weren’t fans. Likely a matter of personal taste, where cranberry sauce there was maybe a bit too sour for us, and the stuffing too vegetal. Mighty Quinn’s is putting out something simpler for sure, but it is wholly and undeniably satisfying.
