I grew up pretty poor and Totino‘s party. Pizzas were a huge staple in our household. I’m pushing 50 now and still love these guys from time to time.

Totino’s is poverty/desperation food and poverty/desperation is a situation of necessity, so “not guilty by reason of necessity” lol, case dismissed

Totino’s is not even really a crime compared to Brazilian and Swedish offerings, or any pizza with potatoes on it

My favorite pizza crime is pineapple + anchovies. The tart, umami, salty and sweet together are just *chefskiss*

  2. Hammy-Cheeks

I can feel the thin ass crust dissolving in my mouth. Yuck, but low key tasted pretty good

Nothing wrong with totinos as a snack.

I have friends who bought them by the stack for their little kid, who may request one at any time of day and then eat like a quarter of it. And then we feast on the rest.

  4. All of em. Pizza is like sex. Even if it’s bad, you still had some.

Put a little oregano, minced garlic, and sliced white mushrooms on there before putting it in the oven

  6. I miss when these pizzas were circles that you could fold in half like a crunchy taco

Cold pizza is the true breakfast of champions

  8. SGTFragged

Hawaiian pizza (ham, mushroom and pineapple) and burger pizza.

I understand a certain amount of the culinary orthodoxy, but at the same time, Italians put fries on pizza. About the only rule I actively try to not break is chicken on pizza.

I always lived off of those as a kid. I think my actual crime would be the amount of garlic (whole/diced) I put on top if I have the option though. I’ve been told as much before. Also, for anyone with a Costco food court, I use the diced onion dispenser for their pizza rather than their hot dogs.

I recently just tried this combo and it was 🔥
Onion and pineapple… it was surprisingly good asf and I’ve never had pineapple on pizza! First time for everything. It did not disappoint

This picture actually made me crave some Totino’s. No crime here

These were a staple of my childhood and are still great today. I tend to doctor them up these days, extra cheese etc, but I still enjoy them. My mind can’t process them being square now though. That’s the only crime I see with them.

In my 40s, married with a stable job and always have a few of these in the back of the freezer.

  14. So I have been to Italy a few times. Been in a few different parts of it too. I do not like the pizza. I would literally eat a Papa Johns over an authentic Italian pizza. I know, I agree, I’m terrible.

    ABSOLUTELY TOTINO’s.

Once a year. What a great memory.

Bro, Totino’s hands down the best frozen pizza at my local grocery store and it is not even close.

I don’t know what the consensus is on bbq pizza, but a really fresh bbq pizza with grilled chicken, red onions, and cilantro fuckin kicks ass. I made a homemade one with sweet baby ray’s and ascended to another plane of existence.

Mushroom and pineapple with extra cheese. Also Philly cheesesteak pizza.

mostly topping related–anchovy and pineapple, bacon and pineapple, really any salty meat and pineapple. I love a breakfast pizza with no redsauce, scrambled egg, cheese and bacon/sausage. A place in Key West has a “shrimp scampi” pizza that is one of my all time favorites. Shout out to Vic’s in Olympia Washington that served me my first good vegan slice: roasted potatoes, red peppers and kale with a nutritional-yeast-based sauce. I have had and thoroughly enjoyed crab Rangoon pizza.

in terms of format, I have a soft spot for take-and-bake pizza allowed to sit and thaw and then folded in to a calzone-like shape and cooked on the stove in a cast iron, one side at a time. i discovered this one winter in oregon when the oven portion of my stove went awol and a freak snowstorm in portland left me out of luck to get it repaired, but I keep coming back to it. Nothing like a redbaronzone on a cold winter night. I also used to work in a bagel shop and one of my-go to meals was assembling a kind of pizza on top of uncooked bagel dough and throwing that in the oven.

Totino’s is better than Domino’s or Pizza Hut.

  21. Idk if it’s a crime, but I fucking love the Red Baron French bread frozen pizzas. I always have a couple boxes in my freezer.

During my broke days when the Totino’s used to be round, we would cut up stuff and doctor then up.

Not gonna lie, we occasionally still do a doctored up Totino’s night once a month or so.

Every time I eat one core memories are unlocked with a wave of nostalgia!

My rose-colored glasses make them taste amazing!

  23. beezchurgr

Totinos is not good pizza but there’s something about it. I think I used to buy them for $0.67 each back in my super poor days.

  24. co1lectivechaos

The crime I enjoy is thin crust pizza. Also I’ve put cinnamon sugar on the sauce before when making a pizza at work because I like my sauce to be a bit sweeter

  25. Classic-Exchange-511

Today I’m gonna make a chef boyardee pizza kit. It’s not good pizza but my mom made it for us all the time as a kid so I kind of like it for that reason only

  26. Empty_Equivalent_131

7-11 pizza slices that was under the heat lamp all day
