I have an older full size 22" kettle only and have found that a side table of sorts would be nice. Any of you with just the kettle have any success with these attachable side tables? I even found that Weber offered a "Sidekick" wooden table back in the day that attached to the rim:

I used to have an attachable side table. It was the thermoset (plastic) kind. It was too small to do much, and the sidekick is the same concept. Also, putting a cover on your kettle means removing the table every time. I suggest getting a stand alone prep cart of some sort. I have in from Keter. It is 5 years old and as good as new. You can do much more with it, and still cover your grill. If space is an issue, and you don’t need prep space, but only an extra surface on which to place items or a tray, get a separate small table, like those at Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shop. They look like this:

Something like that will give you more flexibility with your kettle or grill set up and will be out of your way for storage when not in use.
If you do get a side table, you don’t have to pay $140 for a Sidekick. There are highly rated inexpensive options. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YY27PR2
If this one is easy to put on and take off, I might buy two- one for each side of my Kettle.
