You need some sour cream and some guacamole on there!

Reminds me of the tacos I’d have at my Aunt’s house as a kid. She used the “fajita” powder seasoning, cheese, and a tortilla. It slapped. Not remotely the fajitas or tacos we had at home, but so good. I might have to make them this weekend.

Hell yea! Had tacos in my house too!

Dang, get you a little bit of freshness in there. Some lettuce, tomato. Salsa. Anything. That looks dry.

Looks really good! But some store bought pico is like $5, or could dice up white onion, tomato, cilantro, with a little lime juice, and it could take those thangs to the next level
Also could add some sour cream, guac or avocado; but I like the “less is more” approach you took here. Simple, efficient, to the point, and it looks good

Everyone suggesting sour cream – a good alternative is plain yogurt. Significantly healthier, especially the high protein ones you can get, and it’s the exact same texture/creaminess with a pretty non existent flavour

Do… do you not heat up the tortilla?

Place an open tortilla on your plate to catch all the drops from your first taco.

Yeah, salsa and sour cream are good, but sometimes just meat and cheese hits the spot! Looks good 😊

I enjoy a good Midwest taco. My Midwest family makes these. I’m from CA and a taco is a corn tortilla with steak, pork, chicken and/or other parts we won’t talk about. They’re topped with cilantro, onion and a good red or green salsa. We call flour tortilla concoctions burritos. Burritos are another conversation.
It looks good and I know it tasted good. Happy Tuesday!
