Been out of the industry and haven’t been able to steal these in five years but I just found them on Amazon.

Getting them on Amazon is ok but finding one of these special needles in a haystack color striped kitchen towels is the best find at work.

I was a chef for a big named band on tour. Travel kitchen, Sysco/gfs/us food deliveries everything except linen service. So when I was in between runs I would find a restaurant getting a delivery of linens and I would slide them 20$ for a slab of aprons and 2 packs of bar mops. I’d do it about once a month. They have extras on the trucks and when your nice to your delivery guy he will always hook up and pack in need
*** Also the “Hot Pad” versions are just 2 or 3 sewn together

I have about 9k left in my garage. I take them everywhere. Going to a family party, take a bag. Going camping, take 2. Going to clean my car, take a bag. It’s amazing how they just won’t end. How I got them you ask, restaurant I worked for didn’t want to short their weekly order just in case we ran out so it became habit it to take my keys which had the storage keys and my car keys. Do the count. Take about 1/4 of them out and stick them in my car. And then I would just stick them into my garage. Eventually they all went I to my storage unit. Then boom I forgot about them. I worked there about 2.5 years, so it’s a lot of them. It’s been 2 years since I left that place and now that I think about it. I’ve only gone through 2 cases of bags of them and I still have roughly 8-10 cases left.
