i have been wanting to try a copycat version of nobu’s making crispy tuna rice so i pick this ahi tuna steak up when i saw it. is it safe to consume raw? and is there a proper way of thawing it/do i need to do anything to it to make it safer?

    I’ve eaten these raw without issue. Notice they don’t say anywhere that you must cook before eating, unlike other raw products. They’re intended to be seared and eaten without being fully cooked throughout

    Should be just fine, the stuff I use comes looking very similar.

    I looked them up on google, there’s a post here from 4 years ago as well, should be good to go

  3. I use Aldi version of these in poke bowls.  Mine look a lot redder though.

  4. I did this just the other night in Poké bowls (and a few previous times as well with no issues)! I’d say go for it
