Counter opinion: lard is the play doh of the culinary world, or at least the pizza world

    Back in the day I’d grab a baseball sized wad of lard out of a 50lb box for each pan, when that pizza came out the pan was spotless

    Been doing pizza for years, never once have i needed lard, the fuck do you use it for aside from wasting labor hours?

    Used alot of lard working at a bakery.. I once sculpted a woman’s bust, like a D cup, the box of lard was behind the walk-in. So I go back to get some and shape this large female bust .. got busy with work, forgot I did it. My boss goes to grab some lard a couple hours later, ..I heard a big yelp/shriek.. then some hard laughing. He came out with a big smile on his face and a boob in his hand.. 😆 🤣 we had a good laugh, said he didn’t want to wreck it.
