It's my first time growing any plant and I found these white pods near the flowers. Should I be worried? Should I do anything?

Just removed them with your fingers, they’re just bugs that are slowly sucking sap for nutrients. A few won’t do your plant much harm but once they start accumulating in mass such as in your case then the energy drain becomes more significant.

They are mealybugs. Use a warm water spray to remove most. Alternatively, wipe them and their eggs off with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Neem oil is also a natural, effective solution.
