Your char looks pretty good but it’s uneven. Looks like you need to press the steak down on the char surface.

It looks like it curled a bit on ya, that’s why the edges are blackened but not the center. Happens with steaks on the thinner side. A couple good presses to ensure it’s got full contact with the pan will fix that. Other than that no complaints.
