Hello all! I made a bento box for work tomorrow 🙂 Does this count as volume eating or is it just… eating fruits and veggies? I am vegetarian and struggling to eat healthy (two totally separate things). I recently started tracking calories because I kept gaining weight and it turns out I was eating way more calories than I should be and it was very eye opening.
Does anyone have any ideas one what else I can put in my boxes so I don’t get bored and they stay high protein?
Thanks in advance! Also if there is a better sub to ask this in please let me know!

I’ve posted a few of mine! My favorites are taco salads and bbq tofu wraps. They have beans/tofu and avocado so good fats and protein and u can adjust to having more beans and stuff for even more
i didnt know vegetarians ate eggs
raw tofu and egg
The vegan deli meats are actually pretty good and have killer protein-to-calorie ratios.
I think this could be volume eating, but I think many of us here eat three times that amount of the fruits and veggies you have. (This is my version of what you’ve got

Have you considered puffed or smoked tofu instead of the plain tofu you have there? I think a firmer texture can work to almost mimic cheese in a veggie grazing plate. I’m also vegetarian and Sunrise makes a good smoked tofu and they have a smoked sriracha one too.
Kimchi?
do you salt your cucumbers?
hi love !! I recommend maybe seasoning or pairing it with some low-cal sauces to make it more pleasant to eat !! there are TONS of low calorie sauces that are vegetarian as well, and seasonings are virtually calorie-free ! 🙂
bestie i’d put some seasoning on that haha
and also, to adhere more to an asian theme i’d look up korean/japanese side dishes. they’re usually very healthy and low calorie. a little bit of rice won’t hurt either
