I just bought my traeger a week ago and my temp has been significantly off since day one. Is there a way to calibrate it myself, or should I just take it back for a new one?

My thermometer (which is working good) says 230, but my traeger says 310…

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

I’d probably just swap it out if you really try’s your thermometer and it’s that off.

I have the same issue with my pro 34. It’s apparently a common problem that I’ve yet to find a solution for other than a controller upgrade. Super frustrating.

Mine has worked perfectly for years until this Thanksgiving. It was reading 350 and actual temp was 150. I ordered a new RTD.

    Traeger isn’t worth the hassle… Sorry…
