1st attempt – cracked, no feet
2nd attempt – even worse, puffed up and cracked like crazy

Does anyone have any advice?

    Play around with the oven temp and time – the numbers used in recipes are just guidelines. Everyone’s oven is different.

    Also, you’ll get better diagnostic help if you take pics of your meringue and macaronage next time.

    This happens to me when I don’t let them rest long enough, how long did you rest for? I also had to lower my temp and baked for longer than what she had listed.
