Krug: First time drinking krug, latest release. It was obviously tight and young so we decanted it for 30 minute. Yeasty and nutty on the nose, on the nose you might think this will be a heavy champagne but the palate is incredibly well balanced. I can see the hype but a little too expensive in my book.
Morey: Wow, this is really a top level white, perfect usage of oak, round and silky texture, very long finish.
Noellat: very good and open for business. Nice fruit purity, red fruited profile, good lenght.
Henri Bonneau: just wow, WOTN by a million mile, a truly special bottle. I remember when it was available, my friend texted me and I thought it was a little expensive. Well, now I regret not buying 3. The nose was exhilarating, so intense and pure… a wine that you actually don’t need to drink. Opened in the morning, which was probably not enough, still a little tight and perceptible tannins but a length that could go on for minutes, so complex that I could’nt pick up something soecific on the palate or I could put a list of 25 things.
Gassac: opened last minutes as we needed an extra bottle. Completely in the shadow of the châteauneuf.

Was this just you solo? If so, hats off, and my condolences to the morning after.
