Any ideas? Is there something I can make with this that’s easy and doesn’t require a lot of work/buying a ton of new ingredients? Should I give it to a food pantry? I’m a household of 1 I can’t possibly eat 36 bananas lmao

    Banana bread. You can also cut them up and freeze them for future smoothies

    Make friends with neighbours. They will reciprocate when they can.

    Just let em ripen to your preferred level and stick ’em in a freezer. Or smoothies, pancakes or bread. Use them as toppers in Yogurt or oatmeal.

    For this reason I have a permanent note set in Instacart that says “I only want six bananas”.

    The other answers are great. Ripen, peel, cut up and freeze for smoothies is the best long term use. Over ripen and use for banana bread. Chocolate dip and freeze for summer treats.

  8. freeze them great for smoothies – peel them first!

    Here are some options:

    * banana bread
    * caramellised bananas with yoghurt
    * banana milkshake
    * you can add banana with meat and make it savoury (not everyone likes it though)
    * banana cream (sweet, to put it on bread)
    * banana ice cream

    Use them for scale in pictures of all your possessions in case you ever need to post a certain possession

    I’d peel the extra ones you’re not going to eat right away and store them in the freezer. You can use them for smoothies, banana breads or muffins.

    Take a bunch of pictures of random things showing the size compared to a banana.

    Have a dehydrator? I’d slice ’em and make banana chips.
