They’re wonderful!! I just ranted on to my mum about my disaster of a cookie attempt. Exchange tomorrow and I wanted something different than traditional. A simple twill roll with a little decorative icing. HELL TO THE NO!
Burnt the first batch. Burnt my finger tips on the melted chocolate during the roll. They crack if not warm enough and then proceed to fall apart. And and, you can only bake 4 at a time!! 4 AT A TIME!! They cool to fast to roll, so this way you can keep up.
Screw you twill cookie! SCREW YOU!
You, OP, you will be doing my cookies next year and I will strut into that exchange like a majestic peacock announcing “BEHOLD THEE MOST LOVIEST OF COOKIES!!”
