Ingredients
1 TBSP Olive Oil
1 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
Salt & pepper to taste
3-4 cloves minced garlic
6 ounce can tomato paste
4 cups chicken broth
28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
2 bay leaves
2 tsp Italian seasoning
20 ounce package tortellini
1 cup heavy cream
Parmesan cheese

Directions
1. Start by adding olive oil to a soup pot or dutch oven and brown ground beef.

2. Once beef has turned brown, drain some of the fat and add in your chopped onion.

3. Let the onion turn translucent (about 3-5 mins)

4. Once onion is translucent, add in minced garlic.

5. Season ground beef, onion, and garlic with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Add in can of tomato paste, stir for 2 minutes.

7. Add in broth, crushed tomatoes, bay leaves, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

8. Add tortellini and simmer for 4-6 minutes (check periodically to make sure noodles are not mushy).

9. Remove bay leaves and stir in 1 cup of heavy cream.

10. Add to a bowl and top with your favorite toppings!
