1505 was a confirmed banger.
Love the note on 1484 re. the quantity of wine.

I was going to buy a bottle of 1503 to honor my great great great great great great great great great great great grandmother’s birth but seems to have been a tough vintage.

Weird question: anyone know of the oldest wine still confirmed drinkable? I know of the Strasbourg Wine Barrel (1472) which was tasted a few times throughout history (last in 1944), but curious if any of these older wines could still be good even if stored perfectly? Although I might pass on the 1349 vintage…
