No seasoning beats freshly ground nutmeg and a touch of parmesan!
Love your recipes, so glad I found you!
Fascinating, thank you!
Thank you your a joy to bring all this stuff to help people
Your not going die if you have a potato every no and then lol
Real mashed potatoes are good for you.
Fascinating to me that folks will tell you that real mashed potatoes are good for you having no idea what your dietary needs are currently. Are these people growing their own potatoes or are their potatoes being trucked hundreds or thousands of miles after being grown in nutritionally depleted soil, stored for up to a year, sprayed with God only knows what? Most white russets are GMO anyway. Eat your carnivore mashed potatoes, made from your eggs that you use ALL parts of and I'm going to try your recipe. 😋 Let them eat "potatoes". 😅
Olla I just subscribed, I like your energy, I'm also in Ontario just north of Newmarket, great videos.
New to your channel and subscribed. Mash looks great not sure if I’d go through the process, although I’d never say never as Mashed spuds are in my top 3 favourites 😁
I believe that you only get the popcorn smell if you roast the gelatin on its own before adding butter, should be golden brown be careful not to overdo it.
Can you use liquid egg whites?
I love th at you have simplified it … Chris is genius in his ideas, but he is of a chef mindset and that is to fussy for me.. thanks for thinking outside the box and making it simpler
I am so sad my city in Niagara Ontario doesn’t allow backyard poultry
this is awesome – thank you!
Do you have a cookbook? I’ve been carnivore for 9 months and haven’t seen any cookbooks for carnivores. I’m having trouble writing down recipes from u tube.
Just a heads up, lots of articles and videos coming out about black plastic kitchen tools being toxic as they are made from recycled computer components.
Looks yum! I wonder if the egg mix could be dried in the oven to make it less labor intensive? I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel but hopefully I can try these soon!
I've never heard of putting egg yolks in morning coffee. I've heard of grass feed butter in coffee. What does it taste like yolks in coffee? I'm chicken to try no pun indended
I’m thinking this video needs the third part coming up in the future… when you test the freeze dried results out! Please show us and maybe connect the link to it with this one? ❤️
This recipe gave me a few ideas while watching, one plan when I try it for what will work for us… when moving to the blender stage, maybe holding back a little bit of it still dry.
Just to have backup in case something goes wrong and it does get too runny, just in case you can still recover. You can always adjust and use it at the end when you get it right. I just had a holiday issue making deviled eggs where the filling wound up too runny, so I had to boil another batch for yolks. Shoulda known better, but I rushed it…then had to pay with a much longer night. 😂
If anybody else is scared to try and thinks it could get complicated, maybe that will help them too. Fear of FAIL holds us back way too often from trying new things, just go for it. What’s the worst that can happen(only extra dishes and good expensive ingredients If you can’t eat it. But if you have chickens or pets, it would be healthy for them at least.)
This cooking method seems like making risotto, carnivore style. Hmmmn, there’s the next recipe for me to look up.
The “smelling like popcorn” reminds me of letting flour or rice “toast” before adding liquids to a recipe… it’s funny too cuz thats exactly how I describe jasmine rice when it’s cooking. Aaaah I grew up loving that smell in the house and miss it!
I love my carbon steel pans. They work like cast iron but are lighter weight. I have arthritis and trying to lift a big cast iron pan is just not possible.
Wasn't it Chris Cooking Nashville who originally created this recipe? I tried this from his video and they were really and surprisingly good.
Thank you for posting the ingredients! Great recipe!👍❤️
New sub. You had me at mashed potatoes😂
