USA TODAY’s Erin Jensen gives us an inside look what it was like to experience the first ever Hallmark Christmas themed cruise on the Norwegian Gem.

Local stores and catering services are offering pre-orders and takeout options galore, making sure this holiday season your only worries are setting up Santa’s favorite cookies with a nice tall glass of milk.

From the sides to full menus, these caterers have you covered. And to spread the holiday cheer, the Tallahassee Democrat is bringing you a list of establishments ready to meet your holiday needs this season.

Now, a listing of Tallahassee restaurants open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel says, “we’ve got your holiday meal covered,” with a generous list of side dishes and three different meal options to choose from. Dinner portions come in selections to feed a party of four to six for the “Holiday Heat N’ Serve Family Dinner” size, or a party of eight to 10 to make a “Holiday Heat N’ Serve Feast.” The prime rib dinner feeds four to six. The “Holiday Heat N’ Serve Feast” meals include a sugar-cured ham, cornbread dressing, roasted gravy, cranberry relish, macaroni n’ cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet yeast rolls, an apple streusel pie and pecan pie for $184.99.

Ida-Belle’s Southern Kitchen

Locally owned Ida-Belle’s Southern Kitchen is offering a range of side dishes and meat ready and available for pickup for Christmas. Whether you need a side dish to bring to a Christmas party, or you’re just looking for another item to add to the table, the catering service is taking orders until Dec. 17. Dishes available for order include half pans of southern style mac and cheese ($50), southern style brown rice ($40) and a sugar hill Strada ($60). Other menu items include a honey glazed ham ($50) or “Fourth Generation Pecan Pie ($25). According to the company’s Facebook page, all orders must be sent via direct message.

Publix Super Markets

Publix Super Markets has 13 Tallahassee locations.

Publix Super Market’s catering is giving you the option to buy meals that feed different size groups, ranging from three to 10 guests. For $79.99 you can get the “Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Boneless Ham Dinner.” The 5-pound ham is paired with a green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and marshmallow delight, all from the Publix deli for you to take and bake at home. If you’re looking to secure a dinner for a group of 14 to 18, the supermarket is offering its “Publix Complete Turkey Dinner” for $139.99. The fully cooked centerpiece turkey comes with sides that will “impress your guests,” Publix says. Sides includes “generous portions” of cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry orange relish, “Marshmallow Delight” and homestyle gravy. Other sides including platters of vegetables, fruits and desserts are available to order a la carte as well.

Social Kitchen

Caterers at the locally owned operation Social Kitchen are taking pre-orders to help you host your Christmas parties, bringing back some of the favorites including the brunch and green bean casserole, with a few new items as well. Whether you’re looking to feed a group of six to eight ($195), or just need a standout item to bring to the back-to-back holiday parties, Social Kitchen says you’ll be able to “skip the stress of shopping and cooking and enjoy the magic of the season with your loved ones.” The larger dinner which features your choice of Nueske or Kurobuta ham, comes with herb butter rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, bacon wrapped asparagus and a “Social Roast” (brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, bacon, red onions, green apples, white balsamic glaze with blue cheese to top).

Prices vary based on the protein picked. Side dishes are available for individual purchase as well. Meals are available for pickup on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24 at its retail store on 2910 Kerry Forest Parkway, and at its Capital City Country Club banquet space, 1601 Golf Terrace Drive.

TasteBudz Takeout and Catering

TasteBudz Takeout and Catering, also locally owned, is offering “Holiday Office Luncheons.” The office luncheon catering option feeds a minimum of 12 people with a price of $17.99 per person. The luncheon plates come with a salad, a meat, guest’s choice of two sides and a dessert. Sides, which are also available to order a la carte, include macaroni and cheese or squash casserole, cornbread stuffing and collard greens in sizes small, medium and large.

Whole Foods Market

The organic grocery store Whole Foods is offering catering services this holiday season. “Our menu will wow your Christmas crowd with elegant options for all,” its website says. Full feast offerings include the “Maple Bourbon Ham Meal for 8” which comes with sides of homestyle green bean casserole, maple mashed sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese ($159.99). Order the “Just-the-Sides Package for 4,” if you’re looking for some last-minute options. The package comes with sea salt and cracked pepper green beans, mashed russet potatoes, herb stuffing, turkey gravy and a zesty cranberry orange sauce ($54.99). From soups, salads, meats, sauces, sides and more, these caterers have all the fixings.

Winn-Dixie

The supermarket chain Winn-Dixie has options for your feast this Christmas with its special $39.99 deal. The affordable meal comes with a “Dietz and Watson Carver” ham or turkey to pair with four sides of guest’s choice. Sides to pair include cornbread stuffing, homestyle stuffing, green-bean casserole and mashed sweet potatoes. Each order also comes with a 12-count package of “King’s Hawaiian Rolls.” No need for preorders, you can order directly at the store’s deli department.
