Recipe:
Garam Masala
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients:
5 Bay Leaves
3tbsp black Pepppercorns
1/2 Caraway Seeds
6 Black Cardamoms
12 Green Cardamoms
5 one inch pieces of Cardamoms
1 tbsp Cloves
4 tbsp Coriander Seeds
3 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp grated nutmeg
1 mace blade
1 star Anise

Method:
Lightly roast all the whole spices one at a time on low to medium heat in a
pan. Mix all the roasted spices properly. Allow it to cool down and grind to a
fine powder. Then store in an airtight container. less

  1. I would request a little clarity…I have been doing all these masalas but never did we add dhaniya in the garam masala. Please let me know if I've been wrong.

  2. Skip dhaniya and Green cardamom & add white pepper and long pepper for real Himalayan garam masala
