Aldi has announced it will offer the UK’s cheapest fresh turkeys this Christmas, with prices starting from just £5.90.

The budget supermarket’s British Fresh Whole Turkey will be available nationwide from December 19 at £2.95 per kg.

For shoppers looking to get ahead, Aldi’s frozen turkeys are already available in stores, with prices starting from £2.50 per kg.

Aldi confirmed that all fresh turkeys are British-sourced and has pledged it will not be beaten on price for these offerings.
