Please help a fellow food, service, professional in GREAT need!!

Hi fellow foodservice professionals, I’m reaching out in desperation to try to get some help for a very good friend and member of our community. I hope the mods will forgive me for posting this here as I don’t know where else to do.

Esteban Ordonez, a renowned spirits expert, bartender, and hospitality professional, was tragically kidnapped while on a trip to Ecuador to visit family and to complete dental work. During the kidnapping he was subjected to violent torture which resulted in broken bones, bullet wounds, and drugging. The situation is dire and he is currently in a coma. Esteban is not just an expert in his craft, but also a loving father, husband, and friend. His family is devastated. He was returned on November 28th with multiple injuries.

Esteban is a well-respected figure in the bartending, spirits and hospitality industry, someone whose expertise has brought joy to countless people. He is also a proud father and husband, and his family is desperately trying to raise funds for the necessary resources to ensure his recovery. The financial burden of negotiating his release and providing for his immediate care upon return is overwhelming and much is not covered by insurance policies.
