The Baja Fresh’s all closed overnight years ago… but recently one opened not too far from me, so I went there and took a few salsa cups home for testing. I can confirm that the recipe [found here](https://www.instructables.com/Salsa-Negra-Salsa-Baja/) is pretty close, particularly how to char the veg (it’s gotta be flat-out burnt).
You wouldn’t think this stuff is as good as it is but damn. It’s mild, but it’s delicious!
