After seeing them everywhere here I finally gave it a go as a rehearsal ahead of Christmas diner. I was quite apprehensive to give it a go as I don't have a stand mixer. A lot of kneading and proofing later, I am very pleased with the results.
I just had a piece and I see what the fuss is all about they are absolutely delicious.

Hey [I just made these] (https://imgur.com/a/SDuS8QS) last night, too! But with scallions, not chives. So freaking good. I highly recommend getting a bread maker, I got a great one for not much money and I just use the dough setting so that it proves perfectly every time, and then I bake it in the oven. Literally the easiest thing ever
