Gather and be grateful is the motto of Thanksgiving. But we all know where the real fun of the holiday lies — eating an overabundance of food.
So, in honor the holiday and soon-to-be stuffed bellies, we asked readers to send in their favorite sides and choose between traditional or experimental recipes. Traditional recipes won in a landside, which was unsurprising considering that following holiday traditions can boost mental health.
Here’s our compilation of readers favorite sides, ranked by frequency of submission.
