Came across these logs of coconut wood someone's giving away Could I use small chunks of this wood on snake in a weber Kettle for smoking stuff?

I thought Kamado sold it as a smoking wood as well as a charcoal? It’s technically a hardwood. Unless it produced some sort of unwanted byproduct like sap, or oil, or something toxic like creosote.
edit: I looked it up, Kamado sells charcoal made of Coconut Shells, not exactly the wood.

I’ve never heard of anyone using coconut or palm to smoke. Is this a real thing?
