Is this lid hook supposed to be this small? Or have I done something wrong.

Hi. Got my first Weber. A 22 inch (57 cm) compact. Model number 1321004. I’m not in the US. I’ve Just put it together.
It seems to me the hook on the lid to hang on its side is way too short. Shorter than it looks on the diagram, and too short to actually use it (I tried). Have I done something wrong ? Or is it the wrong size they put in the box. The numbers on the actual part say “57” implying that it’s the right one. But it doesn’t seem so. Kindly help.
