That codfish is not going to be what you expected unless you are familiar with Bacalhau already. It is tasty, but very dry and not really used in the same way you would sardines. Make Portuguese Bacalhau rice with it, you won’t regret it. It’s basically salt cod rice pilaf and packed with umami.

The top one is surprisingly good. I found some at tj max. I liked the smoked version and the mustard one too. Enjoy
