With briskets, i usually setup the 2×1 snake method and get great results.
I looked through most of the prime rib cooks on this group and didn't recognize any snake methods.
Any holdback or cautionary thoughts of a snake method for a prime rib?

I usually bone and tie the ribs. Whats your take? Remove the ribs or roast tied back?
Also separate but related, what’s your method for lighting this snake? Do you use chimney at one end?
