Hi, can I still use a perilla powder that has changed its colour from black greyish to greyish orangish now?

    No.

Perilla seeds have a lot of oil (high in omega 3 6 and 9) and when crushed to make powder it goes rancid pretty quickly. Unless this was stored in the freezer (assuming not bc of change in color) I’d stay away from that.

For best perilla powder get perilla seeds and keep in the freezer. This also goes rancid but not as quickly as powder. Before use, grind it up with mortar and pestle. It’s super quick and v fragrant.
