I might simply be paranoid, because I think the pot looks fine otherwise. But I would like to know what you think. I have two rather small, possible cracks in the ceramic. I noticed them today after I had made minced meat sauce, however they might have been there before or since I got it 2 years ago.
Anyway, the first image is an image of the entire pot, you don't see much on this one. The second image is a close up on the spot by the edge, and the last two are both of the area closer to the middle of the pot. As you hopefully can see, it is a different color within the "holes". A bit brownish.
So what do you think? Nothing to be concerned about, or is it? And is the food I made safe to eat?
I apologise about the shinyness and not stellar quality.

That looks like a hole?
I’m not sure about how safe it is to cook with/heat up, but those just look like the glaze had some bubbles that popped during firing. The brown you’re seeing is the naked ceramic
Glazing errors shouldn’t effect the pot and truthfully it looks like it’s been in use for quite some time already, I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless you see the glazing breaking down quite a bit more.
If it’s exposed clay, no, it’s a bacteria trap.
No
Contact the manufacturer and show them these pictures and ask if you could get a replacement. And do it with grace. This looks like manufacturer defects. And if you’re nice you usually get great results. I’ve been getting so much free stuff lately and great replacements for stuff way out of warranty, just hitting up the company I order from and give them praise and ask nicely if I could get a sticker or something similar.
One make of a blender I bought and only used 5 times within the 2 years since I bought and it died the 5th use. They graciously replaced my blender with one worth 3 times the value and it’s been amazing.
Yep
