  1. Noooo, you said the “W” word. Now you are required by universal law to take her out! (Hint to reluctant exercisers…that was how I got myself up and moving. I asked the dog if s/he wanted to go for a walk. There was much canine excitement, and I HAD to get off my backside and go for a walk!)

  2. My saving sanity tip is to find 2-3 recipes and buy and prep ingredients. Bag them. Prepare throughout the week.

    Love the instant pot!
I am family of 1, a senior and working full time. I enjoy having a freezer stash.

  3. I am frustrated because I don't seem to be able to take a screenshot with utube any more. I would love to save the Pesto pasta but I can't get a Screen shot. I must add I am casting from my phone to tv.

  4. Good tips in this video! I would love a future video dedicated to your meal planning process for 1 week, step-by-step, from start to finish, as an example of how to do it. Yes to a part 2 to this video. Thanks, Jeremy! By the way, when my son was in elementary school, he wasn't happy with our meals. I sat down with him and asked him what he would like and did menu planning, including his choices. He is 39 now and jokes about my journey to planning healthy meals for the family. He recalls big slabs of pan fried tofu, pasta with beans, including mac and cheese (dairy) with chickpeas added and baked ziti with cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese. I really tried to make our meals healthier in those days, prior to going WFPB. I didn't realize how much he disliked some of our meals, especially in comparison to his friend's eating style. We all have a good laugh but some of his memories are cringe worthy!! My 37 year old daughter doesn't feel the same way. She liked our meals more. When my kids were little, a friend of mine was big on snacks foods and had a pantry full of Costco snacks such as chips, cookies and sour patch kids. Going to her house was so much fun for my kids because I did not buy that stuff. If my kids wanted sugary cereal like fruit loops or Cocoa Puffs, it had to be their snack for the day (they were allowed 1 sweet treat a day), not breakfast. Hahah, I tried!

  5. Another great video, guys. Not sure which was my favourite takeaway: “delicious slop, that’s the name of our next cookbook “, or “suck less every time you show up”.😂

  6. Another awesome video with amazing healthy cooking hacks for busy & lazy people Jeremy. Frozen vegetables is my favourite cooking hack and using the instant pot instead of the stove top is a game changer. Love 😍 this channel and your videos and love ❤️ Jeremy & family.

  7. Ok this might be a dumb question. I kinda have been out of the loop, but can you show how the insta pot works? Or is it just a fancy name for a pressure cooker? Lol in that case I know how it works.😂

  8. With all the books you’ve reviewed, have you ever found a good recipe for plant-based tiramisu? The vegan recipes available are delicious but they’re just plain white sugar, vegan mascarpone, etc. they’re really tasty but very far from whole food plant-based. The closest I ever found was a version on the channel called whole food plant based cooking, but I still feel it’s missing something. Any inspirations you’ve come by?

  9. I spent about 2 weeks amassing dinners that I like and I took index cards – 31 of them and at some point during the weekend before I food shop, I shuffle the meal index deck and randomly choose 5 meals. I plan for leftovers for a couple of days or if one of the recipes will give me 2 nights of leftovers but honestly, I usually have leftovers for lunch. Sat and Sunday are usually meals that take a bit more time because I have it. I have been doing this since the 90s. I know what to buy at the market cuz I know what I am eating. The thought process of what am I going to eat tonight? I am tired I don’t want to think of it etc.

  10. Great tips, Jeremy! At times when I know I am going to be gone all day I put my cut up veggies, broth, lentils or canned beans and spices in my instant pot in the morning before I leave, I then set a timer (which I bought to use with my instant pot) and set the timer to start cooking about 30 min. before I get home. When I am ready to sit down to eat, I throw some already cooked rice and cut greens into a bowl and ladle my stew over the rice and greens. The hot stew warms the rice and greens and the meal is ready. If I am feeling extra fancy I squeeze some lemon or lime and/or add microgreens to the top of the bowl – and enjoy a quick and delicious meal!

  11. I always make a lot of soup, chili snd add whatever. I hate to cook so whatevet saves me from cooking every night is a blessing for me.

  12. Love my click and grow! Game changer! Also bought a Lettuce Grow Farmstand recently and love it too! So much easier to get my veggies in and have herbs ready. Thank you for all that you do! Love your videos!

  13. This is exactly the type of content I love about your channel! I need all the hacks! I love batch cooking components and using throughout the week in one or more recipes, but that can be entirely too much some weeks too.

  14. I used to do the timer thing a lot; I would set it for just 5 minutes and see how much of a dent I could make. Nowadays I do "30 things" –anything counts as 1 thing–throw a piece of trash, 1, wash a dish, 1 and then after 30, I have usually made such progress I just finish it. But if I'm truly too exhausted, I go do something else and come back and do another 30, and sometimes back and even another 30. It works like magic.

  15. Hey mate😎LOVE this video! 🤗But do people really ever say I DUNNO when u ASK what they want for dinner?? 😯As the only cook in our household for 20 years I think I’d keel over with SURPRISE DELIGHT & SHOCK if someone else ASKED WHAT I WANT or even cooked something for me on the blind! 😮😊❤Your mob are so lucky to have you Groover!😊Hope they appreciate you🥳& in return for cooking such DELICIOUS HEALTHY meals, I hope they give u daily foot massages, make u endless cuppas (& bring them 2u)plus tell u you’re WONDERFUL!🥰👍🏼from Lorna @ HORSECAMP in Australia 🇦🇺

  16. does canadien sound like scotch people?? My mum is scottisch.. love Joyce from the Netherlands… love love your channel..

  17. Have dehydrated pumpkin and throw it in lots. Converted recipes to vegan for 15 years then met a diabetic so now convert for vegan and diabetic

  18. Just recently started watching you guys and love love love all your tips and tools! Might be late to the party but what do you use for bread?? I love shredded cabbage and carrot sandwiches and don’t want to give it up.

  19. My problem is arthritis. I have several autoimmune diseases and am basically in pain constantly. Restaurant and processed food make it worse so cooking at home is a must. Some days are better so those are the days I take advantage of it and do my cooking. Because of this we also eat a lot of leftovers so dishes that reheat well are a must. All these ideas are very helpful. Thank you 🩷

  20. I made the “Curry in a Hurry” yesterday, and, it is delicious! I used all frozen veggies, so, no chopping at all! 🤩

  21. In my 80’s with spinal stenosis and a new knee. Need short cuts. Standing is painful. I am partial to pot pies which I buy frozen. I want to prepare 3-4 meals to feed me for a week. I also like a pasta dish, a chili, and a breakfast casserole. No heat seasoning. I no longer shop in town. My groceries are now delivered. Planning and organizing are the biggest issues.
