wait, what’s going on in this picture? I’m genuinely confused.

No they wouldn’t have been perfectly fine OP, but if this isn’t enough to convince of you that, nothing will

I’ve hard boiled, then peeled and refrigerated eggs tons of times. It looks like you soft boiled and then refrigerated these while they were still hot.

    – explains the water (condensation)

    – how the whites and yolks aren’t clearly separated

    – while they feel like you could ‘pop’ the yolks

pro-tip: look up alton browns baking eggs technique for doing a big batch of eggs you need “hard-boiled”

edit: **TWO WEEKS AGO**?! lol throw those out now at a far away trashcan or if there’s someone you don’t like…

  4. Nope, you’ll never find me touching any two week old leftovers. Especially eggs, that’s so foul.

  7. I didn’t even process that they were fucking eggs

  8. ThirdBorracho

2 weeks is too long to keep any type of egg

  9. Going to have to disagree with you OP. Regardless of the shells, leaving cooked food in your fridge for 2 weeks will never turn out well 💀

Two weeks in the fridge, imagine the smell 😭

I thought they were frozen for a hot minute there, throw those out, that is way too long to keep boiled eggs in the fridge.

Never seen eggs so smooth before……………………..

Looking at a comments they should’ve just went into the bin after the party a day after… not be kept in the fridge for weeks.

…Is this our subreddit’s new mascot/profile pic/pinned top post? Is this our Y2K? As in we both celebrate it and fear for our wellbeing and for society?

…I both love and hate this and I’m so excited and scared at the same time 🎉🍾💥 😳😱☠️

Could you please enlighten us with why you were holding on to 2 week old boiled eggs? Were dying to know

  16. GrandmaForPresident

2 weeks is a very long time to store cooked eggs

  17. reddit_understoodit

I like hard boiled eggs. Egg salad, snacks, breakfast, on a salad, a quinoa bowl.

I would not have forgotten about them.

  18. two weeks? Seems like a lot for a cooked food, no?
