Cranberry Rosemary Chicken

Looking for something delicious to serve for Christmas? Cranberry rosemary chicken is fun and festive.

Ingredients

4 tablespoons olive oil

6 chicken thighs

salt and pepper

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

¼ cup of chicken broth

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

4 sprigs fresh rosemary (and/or 2 teaspoons dried rosemary)

Directions

1) Mix the honey, olive oil, lemon juice, chicken broth, garlic powder, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper together to make the marinade

2) Place chicken in a 9×13 pan and pour the marinade over the chicken

3) Let set in the fridge for at least 30 min but 24 hours is better

4)Add in the cranberries and rosemary sprigs

5) Cook in a 350°F oven for 30-40 min or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165°F

6) Let cool for 10 minutes and serve!

Oreo Truffles

Christmas candy is a family tradition. My family makes these Oreo Truffles every year. They are simple and delicious!

Ingredients

1 Package of Regular Oreos (Not double stuffed)

8oz of Cream Cheese

Candy melts

Directions

1)Smash up all the Oreos. I put mine in the food processor, but you can also place them in a ziplock bag and smash them with a rolling pin.

2)In a large mixing bowl, mix Oreos and cream cheese until it looks like a dough

3)Scoop the mixture and form into a ball

4) Chill the Oreo balls in the fridge for about 20 minutes

5) Melt the Chocolate

6) Dip the Oreo balls in the melted chocolate and place on a sheet of wax paper

7) Place back in the fridge to harden the coating

8) Optional: Decorate with white chocolate

9) Enjoy!

Hot Cocoa Cookies

These cookies are Santa-approved! Tis the season for baking and hot chocolate. Put both of those things together, and you have the perfect combination.

Ingredients

1 cup butter1 cup sugar2/3 cup brown sugar2 large eggs1 tsp vanilla3 1/4 cups flour4 packages hot cocoa mix or 1/2 cup. Do not use a sugar-free mix1 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda2 tsp baking powder1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. Mix eggs, butter, and sugars in a large mixing bowl. Mix until fluffy.

2. Add in vanilla, flour, hot cocoa, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until it becomes a dough.

3. Stir in chocolate chips

4. Scoop 1-2 tbsp of dough roll into a ball and place on a baking sheet, giving each cookie room to spread when baking.

5. Place in a 350°F oven for 10-12 minutes.

6. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.

7. Serve and enjoy.

Doughnut Snowmen

Mini powder sugar doughnutsOrange Tic-tacsChocolate ChipsFruit roll-upsPretzels

Directions

1) Using pretzel pieces, connect 3 doughnuts together

2) Place the orange tic-tac in the center of the top doughnut

3)Place 2 chocolate chips for the eyes and 1-2 chocolate chips for the buttons

4)Take a piece of your fruit roll up and wrap it around the snowman’s neck

5) Enjoy
